“Hey Steve, thank you very much. It was a real pleasure meeting you. It was a very beneficial session for me that is helping to rewrite some of the stories in my body. I will be taking it with me on my journey and turning the pain into love and hopefully healing for others.
Also thank you for offering your knowledge and presence. I really do appreciate it. Perhaps we will share a cup of tea at your studio some day in Tallinn

“I just wanted to say thanks again Steve for the amazing session we had at Angsbacka. You and your work are so valuable. It opened some things in me that has been very profound. A logjam that started to shift. Thx. Your presence and the way you affect the world around you is wonderful. “-

Steve’s massages are spectacular. He gave me a massage after I had dislocated my shoulder during an accident, and the area was still quite stuck, affected and traumatized. I’m not sure what he did or how he did it, but throughout the session he helped me to experience what tensions was still left from the accident.
At some point it was almost like I was physically and emotionally reliving it: the shoulder was very tensed and I felt fear of moving the shoulder. Through working with it in different ways he helped me to relax the shoulder more than it has ever been since the accident.
The whole session transcended the notion of ‘just having a massage’. Steve was able to work on a psychosomatic, almost spiritual level, with therapeutic, healing and insightful effects. It’s a shame I don’t live nearby, otherwise, I would have definitely come back multiple times to really work on loosening the shoulder further and resolving some of the traumatic effects that are wired in my body after such an accident.
As a physiotherapist I am really at awe at how deep Steve can work during his sessions, it goes beyond my apparent intellectual, professional and academic understanding of the workings of the body and mind. I admire his intuition and ability to listen to the body and feel it can be a wonderful contribution to many processes of healing in many peoples life. Steve, you are amazing!

I was curious to see where in Tallinn I’d be able to receive body therapy and I stumbled upon Steve’s information after a chance visit to his tea shop. I knew immediately that he was the person I needed to see. I’ve been going through a lot of personal growth and emotional pain and I couldn’t have asked for a better soul to step in and help me in such a loving, conscious and unconditional way.

My bodywork and conscious touch session was unlike anything I’ve ever had in my life. The space in which it was held could not have been more comfortable. I went in to do serious work on myself and Steve helped me look deep into what needed to surface with his touch and our talks before and after. It was a journey from the beginning to the end and I’m still feeling the effects from it. It wasn’t just thought provoking, it was intensely visual.

A lot of my tension had been sitting in my stomach and Steve helped me breathe back into that area to bring up fear-based emotions that I was able to process and release. Similar releases happened with my neck and limbs. What stood out for me is the slow pace with which Steve works. Hear me when I say this - we are moving too fast in everything we do in life. You cannot focus if you don’t slow down. Steve understands this and you can feel it in the way he emits his intent and love through everything he does.

Steve’s undivided, uninterrupted and immensely present attention to my body and my energy is something I can’t describe and won’t forget. This is where healing happens the way it should. Many of us are losing touch with our ability to connect with one another consciously because of our fast paced lives and the noise surrounding us. Steve brings you back home. If you feel the calling for something like this or if reading this has resonated with you in any way, go see him.
Steve, my gratitude.

To describe what Steve does, the use of the word “massage” seems to be really restrictive. The experience is multi sensory, and the attention, respect, care and application that Steve brings to the massage table are incredible. It guides the session from the soft beginning to the soft end.
This approach to bodywork, in my opinion, helps to better understand yourself, your body and the experience of being a human.

I would support anything that Steve does, because he puts his whole heart into every moment he shares. I barely had had a massage in my life before I went to Steve, because I was simply scared and did not trust anyone else before. His inexplicable warmth opened me. The meaning of massage and touch got s different meaning to me. It is a true gift to feel his touch, physically or energetically. It is a true gift which can include deeper knowledge about oneself or a really deep change in ones body and mind, and it can only be given when you are wholeheartedly open to receive his magic. Just acknowledge that his goal is to feel you as you are and when you are open to receive he will show you the way. Your story will evolve.
And it is more than beautiful.

Steve’s approach to the challenges of being human is deep, warm, caring and straightforward. Time spent with him is like looking in the mirror, which can be sometimes uncomfortable, but is always solidly held and useful. I highly recommend everything Steve does. Even by just sharing of his time with me, I feel enriched.

Steve has unique abilities in giving attention and communication. The qualities that make Steve Steve for me are his presence, sensitivity, gentleness, freedom of judgment, depth, abundance of perspectives, vast experience and taking time to really listen. This combo created dimensions I could not have expected.
I recommend heartily to meet him - to attend his tea ceremony or even better - go to his massage.

Steve is before anything else a truly caring and compassionate human being. Be it during a tea ceremony or a massage, you feel safe and there is a possibility to let your guard down and relax. That is something that cannot be taught. Helping others through the mediums of tea and human touch comes naturally to him, not to say that he is also very curious and thoughtful when it comes to developing his technique and acquiring more knowledge about the human body and spirit.

Steve’s massage: God bless it is powerful! I can compare Steve´s massage with lucid dream. You acknowledge that you are here, you feel your body, you are awake at some point, but from the other perspective you are surfing through another dimension. If you find yourself struggling with meditation, then Steve will help you to achieve the point, where you can achieve this state. Steve can take you further and deeper into states you´ve never been before. After the session you feel lighter, calmer and more fresh - in a “semi-zen” state. Make your body and mind beautiful gift by letting Steve share his touch power.

Tea ceremonies with Steve: I can describe tea ceremonies with Steve really easily. It is a feeling like the time becomes slower. With him you can experience a great moment to stop the time ticking. Ceremonies with Steve are very harmonious. He has a good skill of touching your soul and making you feel like steady water, where at first there is no single movement on it. And after drinking the tea you can feel the same way, as if a drop of water sending waves through whole water surface.

The word “massage” in the usual sense means deft, strong and confident movements of the hands, therapeutic manipulations of the masseur over the patient’s body. In the case of dear Steve, all that we usually mean by the word “massage” is only a tool and the key to a much greater, deep and sensual experience. As descriptions, I’d rather avoid well-worn cliches like would be desirable to bypass the “unforgettable sensations” and “sincere pleasure”. Suffice it to say that if you are looking for a high-level massage, then you will find it in Steve’s hands.

To paraphrase Max Romeo, you could easily sing his famous song Chase the Devil, to hail Steve’s work. He is somebody who could send your soul through his bodywork to outer space, to find unopened chambers in your solid space.

When I first received a massage from Steve, I generally wasn’t that interested in them. For me they were really great to relieve stress, I had physical tensions in the start and they were gone in the end. But now, what Steve does, however, feels like an inner spiritual journey which, in that sense, only has a beginning.

If I somehow found myself stuck on a deserted island for a while and could bring a person with me Steve would be my top choice! He is one of these rare kinds of humans that lighten everyone’s mood just by being in the room. His curiosity and knowledge about human psychology, healing modalities and tea is remarkable, as is his skillfulness and attention to details. His way of seeing the world and attitude towards everyone he meets continue to be an inspiration to me. I feel lucky to call Steve my friend.
— jaanus
Steve’s open, supportive tea ceremonies are not without touches of wry humour which all create a space into which its an experience in and of itself to dive deeply.

I’ve received a few massages from Steve and they have all been very different and special in their own unique way!!!
Always a very deep experience, very meditative, it sends you off on a relaxing and calming journey, leaving you feeling serene and refreshed.

We all need to slow the f*ck down! And relax. Otherwise this beautiful crazy game we call Life won’t be half as fun and pleasant as it could be. I count myself lucky that for nearly two decades I’ve known a wonderful person who’s taught me so much about how to calm one’s mind and body. He’s name is Steve. If you haven’t met him, you should. He’s brilliant. Go have a cup of tea with him and you’ll be a happier person. Or at least you get one bloody good cup of tea or a soul soothing massage.
